New Member From Reno

Wife and I bought a new Montana 291RLS in May... This is our 2nd Montana... Thanks to member Hobo Bob (Bob Greenlee) for pointing this site out to us... We left Reno in June for a trip around the states... Intend to take up to a year... We are at this time in Branson in the Shenanigans RV Park... Small park but very quiet and the owners are new and great... Will be leaving tomorrow after a week and when we return to Branson, we will stay here... Only problems with Montana so far is that the Black Water washout won't work, (maybe put in backwards?), the toilet sometimes won't hold water, one of my hydraulic jacks leak and of course the gauges as always don't work propery... Haven't had a lot of luck having anyone check it out while on the road, so I'll just drop it on my dealers lot when we return next year from our trip... Other than that, everything is great... Sometimes we don't know where our next stop will be... We are departing Branson tomorrow to head toward Cincinnati to see a Reds game... The route is still in question... We are pulling it with a new Ford F-350 SWB Crew Cab and it pulls it like a dream... Enjoy reading the forums here..

Larry think about attending the MOC Fall Rally to be held Sept. 24th-Oct 1st in Goshen, IN. Check the postings here on the Forum for it. It's a good way to meet more Montana owners and learn from the members and the sessions put on by the OEM Venders that Keystone/Montana use for their units. IF you need any questions answered, drop me a line either via PM or email and I'll try and answer them.
Hey,

Hey, if you're heading North from Branson and are coming by Omaha, give us a shout and we'll show you some good Nebraska hospitality.

Have a safe journey and hope to meet you down the road somewhere!

Welcome to the forum. You should find it very useful and we'll look forward to your posts. Also, look for the Quartzite Rally in January. It's usually well attended and another great chance to meet those of us who are out west in the winter.

Welcome to the forum, Larry. A word of advice. Be sure to contact Keystone and make them aware of the problems you are encountering with the Monty if you are not going to get them taken care of before your one year warranty expires. That way the problems will be registered and can be resolved at a later date. Been there. Best Wishes and "Keep Smiling"...

Hello Larry, we live about 1/2 hr north of Branson and have camped around the area a couple of times with our previous TT. We may be heading down to Branson for a weekend or two in the next few months. We will definitely be down there sometime during the Christmas holiday, I hear they put on a nice show.

Welcome aboard my friends, sorry about the issues you're experiencing with your new trailer, especially the toilet rinse, haha! I have first hand experience trying to get warranty work done from a dealer other than the one I bought from and it can be a chore, I found that a nice friendly email to Keystone customer service works wonders, anyway happy trails!
