Midwest weekend storms

Did any of our MOC friends suffer any damage from the storms this past weekend?

Another MOCer posted a note that a fellow RVer lost their camper from a tornado. The news all over the midwest is pretty wicked. The few pictures and media have been showing some awful damage and it's sad that lives were lost. This is just being a terrible Spring. How about that school that was having their graduation ceremony, then 'poof' the school got hit BAD?

As a group, us MOCers might be fortunate, but listening or reading about some of the local folks who had everything they needed on one day, then the next day everything is GONE. On an individual basis, it's the utmost in destruction and sadness. Yet they all have the same thoughts that their lives were spared and they must find a way to go on. Even then, some weren't fortunate enough to even have their lives. God Bless them all.

We were about 30 miles south when the storms rolled through.

Here is a clip on youtube of the damage that happened in Southern Ontario. We live about 20-25 miles from the path of the tornado.

We did ok with the storms this weekend but last weekend was terrible! Our friends just showed us pics of there travel trailer. It was twisted around the tree and all that was left was the frame in a twisted wreck! There camper couch was found 4 blocks away! Just seeing the pictures was enough. Thank heavens that they were not in that rv! It was a miracle that no one was injured badly or killed. These storms are just wicked!
