Both over the bed wall lights don't work

just yesterday i noticed that my wall light on my side of the bed didn't turn on...checked the bulbs.

For the heck of it I checked my DW side, that isn't turning on either.

This is for both on 12 volt and 110 volt.

all the bedroom lights work except these two.

checked all of the fuses (15/25 amp) and they look good.

HELP.

Since those lights are in the slide-out check under the slide-out and for a wire connection that has come loose. Normally they are in a box either under the slide out or inside the bedframe towards the head of the bed. If the wires were put in without enough slack for when the slide moves out, they could have pulled apart. Check those first and I'm sure there will be others that will throw their two cents in like I have!

And check the connections on the back of the light itself. They are chained together so one loose connection can keep both from working if it is the first one in line. They are 12V lights and problems found are typically associated with the ground connection.

Eddie, here is a picture of the exposed underside of the bedroom slide on our 2012 - 3402. Just above the ram you can see a couple of wires, these go to the lights, there is no junction box and those are the only two wires under the bed.

They are loose and do move back and forth with the slide, so one may have come disconnected as there are connections as you can see in the picture. I do not remember how they entered the slide back wall however.

Hope this helps a bit.

I had the same problem in the living room or bedroom don't remember which. I changed both bulbs and they both started working. I don't know how they are wired but it reminded me of the old Christmas tree lights.

Hi

You can pick up those rams with one hand when they are retracted.

Yes check the switchs they are real cheapee's both of ours already went bad in this 13402 and they both failed in our 06 3400. Quality switch will solve present and future issues.
