This was covered once in the past that I am aware of. My old memory says that it is because the large black iron gas pipe that connects both sides together could allow for propane gas to liquidfy in some cases, so it is used as a preventer for this reason only. Why keystone did not use a high quality propane hose to crossover instead is a mystery...cost? John
