We have the same problem with our rear slide, the bedroom slide comes in completely and then the rear slide starts to move in and then it will stop, I rock the switch as if to open the slides and then rock the switch to close it and it will move the rear slide in a couple of inches and stop, I do the same procedure and eventually the rear slide comes in fully.
So my question is, is it the switch, breaker (and if it is the breaker, what size larger breaker do I need?) or is it the motor?

Thanks, Ed

Why don't you take to a plac where they fix these things and let them take a look? The tech a the dealership we took it to has seen our problem before and knew right away what it was.

Yup. We are on the road now and it's doing it again. Making another list for the service dept. 😡

Mine started doing that on my kitchen slide. I experimented a bit and noticed it didn't do it as often when on shore power. This made me think that it has something to do with the battery levels. When the batteries are not fully charged, the motor seems to draw a bit more amperage and causes the breaker to pop. I also noticed that the breakers are on or near the motor and not near the battery as when the kitchen slide stops, I can still run the others. I had one other stop when the batteries were worn from a long dry camping weekend.

I added a $6 door holder on my rig to hold the door open. Easy fix. Disappointed with Keystone that they didn't automatically include it.

Enjoy your Monte, we've had 18 months of fun in ours.

The manufacturer of the electric slides has 2 models of motors they use; a heavy duty one (more $) and a light duty one (cheaper) Any guesses which one they used in our High Countrys?

Assuming we have the lower (cheaper) level motors, how hard is it to change them out?

We had the same problem on our 2015 305 RL and the I dealer made the same fix. But the problem recently Came back and yesterday new more serious problem presented.
The kitchen slide seems to be moving the top of the slide first and then picking up the bottom movement which makes a very loud popping noise. I ran out of light last but will be back to inspecting and figuring this morning. All of our slides have always kind of "popped" the walls. They kind of jump a bit and the wall around them flexes. But this is the kind of noise that feels like one should duck to avoid to avoid flying parts (there aren't any yet). I would sure like to hear any suggestions here.

These slides always scare me! We got the trailer back on Thursday and the slide seems to be working well. We are going on a ten day trip on Tuesday with four destinations, so we will get a good idea of how well it continues to work.!
