I'll do the gift exchange. I'd suggest that no demarcation be made as to the gender targeted by the gift. There may not be enough of the same gender receiving as giving--ie., more women participating than men, etc.
Gift cards were okay at the last rally, but the wine was fought over! So were "stinky" candles, and outrageously colored picnic ware. Let's use our imagination and have some fun with this! What would you like to get (or get rid of!)?
Price limit on gifts-$10.00. Of course, if you got it as a gift and don't know how much it really cost--so what? Here's your chance to get rid of that gift you never even took out of the box! Wrap it up nicely and bring it to our rig sometime before that night. We'll give you a number once sign ups are complete.

Lisa, Thank you so much for taking the Gift Exchange. Set it up the way you want. And yes, having a gift that a man or woman can use is a wise choice.

Okay, I'll also run the food sign up lists on the forum, but I can't afford to run myself ragged like I did at Gettysburg. I'll need help with the grunt work--Set up and break down of each meal. I know everyone out there will do what's needed and not leave everything to just lil o'l me!

Thanks George.
Bill will probably need assistance with the campfire every night, and there's always the set up and breakdown of tables in the Rec Center. We're also looking for some larger coffee pots for our breakfasts--like 20 cup size--Do you (or anyone) know someone who has one we could borrow?

Hi new MOC family, this is Peg & Jack from Pittsburgh. Just read about the Va Rally and will talk to hubby about going. Our 3400RL is on order at the moment & due to arrive end of July so we should be in good shape for the Sept Rally. I'm sooo excited that I'm about to _ _ _ my britches. We are newly retired and plan on taking our first major trip to sunny Florida in January. Not easy setting up those trips at different campsites is it? Anyway I will be trying to figure out how to sign up for rally and reading about what to expect at our first one. We also will be happy to help out where we can. At some point I was reading the PDI - Pre Delivery checklist and now I can't seem to find it. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Looking forward to meeting everyone. Hugs, Peggy

For your PDI, look at:
http://www.montanaowners.com/RVRelatedLinks.html and you will see the link for PDI's
For your interest in the Mid-Atlantic-Va rally, if and when you decide, just post on the attendees thread that you are interested and Salle (Vabluebird) will add you to the list. You will have to contact the campground ( www.Walnuthillscampground.com ) for your site reservations. We hope you can make it!!

Peggy,
There are a few sites out there that help--Woodalls has a site and so does Trailer Life. They both offer campsite locators. Of course, if you are prior military there is a site for Fam Camps as well.

George, sorry I took so long to recognize your contribution of the coffee pot! Thanks bunches! That makes breakfasts much more eye opening.
We will need someone to make up decaf as I have only a 4 cup coffee maker in the rig. I have a thermal pot to put it in if needed.

Salle & Lisa, we just discovered to our delight that our daughter & son-in-law who live in Warrenton VA will be joining us Saturday night and staying until Monday morning. I'll make sure to have extra food and hope that doesn't cause any problems because I'm letting you know at this late date.
Hugs, Peggy & Jack Mills

Salle,
We do have use of the meeting room/club kitchen room up where we are camping don't we? Right now the path for Hanna passes just east of the campground. That is good news! Why is it good news you ask? Because 3-4 days out you can just about bet the farm that the hurricane will not follow the path they are predicting. Still, it could be a little wet at times and want to know what our options are.....
