Virginia Beach

We'll be in Va Beach around the 8th or so for maybe 5 days. We plan to stay at the Holiday Travel Park. Anyone going to be around let us know and maybe we could hook up.

John, No we won't be anywhere near VA.Beach for a while, but in recent years it has become one of our favorite Vacation spots, there is soooo much to see and enjoy. We have always taken a plane trip and stayed in a hotel over the beach. Now that we plan to retire in the next couple of years it will be one of our first real trips we take in our new Montana. We wondered if there was any good camping spots near there and now you can let us all know how it is. Please let us know all about the park and how your trip turns out. Have fun!

Trip was great. CG supersites are beautiful. I will post a pic of our site. They are turning the whole section into "super sites", they are removing 1/2 of the sites, making them wider and into pull thru's. They put in cable tv, and are installing wi-fi. A little pricey $35 off season up to $55 in season but a 10% disc for AAA or Good Sam. I would pay the $55 for the room and amenities.
Park is right in line with the Naval Air Station so there were fighter jets flying over all day. It was an all day airshow.
