2008 Montana 3605 NEEDS NEW TIRES
Blew a tire all the way back to China last week and am wanting to put on ,after much research,a set of LT 235 85 R16 BFG Commercial TA's. I would really like to get from this Montana family of ours just a confirmation that this is a good match-up before I lay out the bucks($250.00 per tire, mounted and balanced). I'm in Canada, but could buy in the USA if this price is out of line. Thanks everyone for your indulgence on one more tire question.

Have you weight you camper?
You don't have what model your Montana is in your signature, so we don't know how to look up the weight of the camper.
TA's have a may weight of 3045# per tire, so if you have one of the big heavy campers, that will not be enough tire for your model.

I went to the US and had G614's installed at $333 + $29.00 for installation. A little expensive but I feel a lot more comfortable with these tires and my TST monitoring System. I had Colton RV install them in Buffalo. I know this doesn't answer you're question but with all the reaserch on this website it was an easy decision to make. I looked up your trailer and it looks like a big rig which is quite heavy.

I run BFG's and have been very happy with them. After deducting the tongue weight, the tires are within specs. I don't worry about blowouts anymore.

Here is my list that I have made from the MOC tire discussions. No certain order, it depends on your weight of your camper.
Bridgestone Duravis R250, weigh 59 lbs. All steel construction.
BF Goodrich Commercial T/A,weigh 45 lbs.
Firestone Transforce HT, weigh 40 lbs.
Goodyear G614 RST's, weigh 58 lbs. All steel construction
Michelin XPS Rib, weigh 56 lbs All steel construction
If you can use a tire capacity of 3045#, than it looks like the Duravis R250 or the BFG T/A's would be a good pick.

I used Bridgestone Duravis 500s based on a recommendation from LonnieB. No problems at all.

Had my rig(3605 like yours) weighed at the national rally last year and with a normal loading found the street sides were at 3300lbs just under the Marathons ratings, and the curb sides at 2600lbs. I just installed the G614's for peace of mind.

Got BFG's on my Montana and had them on my last 5er and 0 problems with them. Just check the air before a trip and keep them aired up to 80 lbs.
