We are aware of the do not caulk the bottom of the shower walls myth or not. We did caulk ours all the way around early on and have not had a problem in over 5 years. Who knows?????

I think all the major manufactures make a decent product. What you have to look at is the dealership and the amount of support they offer their customer. They are your first point of contact and can make any product enjoyable or a nightmare.
