Quote "I was told by the tire dealer that 100+ degrees is no problem for these tires." it had better not be a problem as we've not seen anything below 103 degrees ambient air temp in over a week unless it's after 11 PM.

I think our tire pressure monitors are pretty accurate ... when I stopped the other day while they were reading @ 90 psi ... my manual truck tire guage read within a pound of that when I removed one sensor to compare. Like you said ... perhaps a case of the hard heads.

That's what the "+" means. I've seen as much as 109 degrees on the TV tires. Doesn't seem to get that high on the camper because of the nitrogen fill. I also agree that the TST system is pretty accurate.

My run about 90 to 95 degrees when cold inflation was set at 80 psi. This is pretty consistent since I started using a tire pressure monitor.

If they were "pull off" tires that were installed on his camper, he was fortunate only one blew. When I change the tires on our Montana, they typically look like great tires according to the tread. However, they are four years old and have been exposed to some extreme heat in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. I learned my lesson many years ago to not put used tires on an RV of any kind--motorized or towed.
