level up noise
We picked up our 2013 big sky 3402rl 2 days ago. This unit has the Lippert 6 way level up system. My question is when we go to bed at night there is a shift and pop that is very short and happens about 3 times then never again until the next night. Is this normal for a fifth wheel? Never spent any time in a fifth wheel so not sure this is a real problem. We are still close to the dealer so we can have it looked at. Just no sure it is a problem. Thank you for your help. love the rig so far. Gwen

I would contact Lippert, they know a lot more about levelup than the dealer will.

I have the same problem, but discovered it was my back when I rolled over. I would still contact Lippert. We have a 3582 with the 6 point and love it. Helps my back!

yes we have the brand new 13 3402 Big sky. We do, at times , hear a clicking sort of noise from the level up system after the do initial setup. We observed it closely when we set up in the driveway last week and are nearly sure it is the system doing a fine tunning level up. It clicked 6 or 7 times on one side then stopped.

Peace of mind is important and Lippert won't mind, give them a call just to be safe.

Yep, mine does it all the time ,not sure why? it does not seem to hurt anything and the 5th stays level, so I have just gotten use to it

Thank you for the replys. After looking at the issue for some time I think the frame of the bed is shifthing when we move and has gotten worse with use. Will look into this soon. Nice to know the clicking part is not uncommon. Gwen
