Battery charger

Has anyone used the Battery Tender sold at Camping World..I have removed my batteries as I will not be using Monty for four months and it sits in a storage yard. I thought I would hook them up in my garage and keep a good charge on them. These are new no maintenance batteries and want to keep them in good shape. Once Deep Cycle batteries go below 3/4 charge they are history as far as holding a charge.

Hi Mike,
Welcome.
I have maybe 5 of them, Kabota tractor, Zero turn mower, spare truck, (Old Yeller) 2 electric start generators, and one I had for something else.
I change out the ends on them to better, heavier clips, the ones I use, I got at the auto parts store, solid state, all encapsulated, Red and Green indicator lights. They work super!

I have several of these trickle chargers from Harbor Freight. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=42292
They are inexpensive and as far as I know work just as well as the much higher priced. I've kept them hooked to my various batteries all winter with no signs of overcharging.

Brad, I nearly fell out of my chair laughing, I was thinking the same thing just as I got to your post. Good thing ol' OZZ has a sense of humor.
