To my knowledge there is no place in Martinez. The nearest place I know of is in Concord. It is Sunny Acres Mobile Home and RV Park. Not the best place around. Is this business or pleasure? If you have to comute for work Concord is the best place because of the horrible comute on Hiway 4. I used to live there. Believe me you don't want to be on the highway between 5:30-8:00AM or 3:30-6:30PM. You can walk faster than you can drive. If for pleasure and you can time your trips, then there are a couple of places about ten miles away.

Your request brought back a memory that we laugh at now but was a nightmare while it was happening. We had been in Petaluma and I decided to go back to consulting. The first job I had was in Richman. We couldn't find an RV park anywhere near so decided to stay at the Best Western in Martinez. Right across the street was an RV storage place and so Ed went over to talk to the guy. Besides storing RV (mostly junk ones) there were several RV hookup sites in this place and he talked Ed into parking there. We were there for 7 weeks and it was truly a nightmare. We still talk about when we stayed at the junk yard! Our daughter lives in Benicia and there is nothing close by except the one Mike mentioned and one or two out on an Bethel Island we've considered. There are some others east of Martinez but quite aways. Don't even bother looking at the ones in Vallejo - they are bad and we don't fit.
Happy trails................................

No on Tradewinds. Marlins is new to me and we did extensive search in that area 3 or 4 years ago. Is it maybe a mobile home park that has released some sites for RVs. That is happening quite a bit here in Calif.

Marlins RV Park is a new one on me. Let us now what kind of park it is. The nearest one I know o that would be okay is in Bethel Island, about 25 minute away. Let me know if you are interested.

I fully agree with Parrothead about no on Tradewinds in Vallejo, besides not fitting your rig, there are many other reason you don't want to be there!

Tradewinds in Vallejo is in a part of town that I would not stay in. Mostly mobil homes there and a lot of older ones.

How about I widen my search to something within 30 minutes of Martinez ?? Bethal Island looks like about 35 minutes via MAPQUEST.Possible if nothing else shows up.

Sugar Barge Marina and RV Park is pretty nice. Stayed there for a week when I visited my kids. Pretty much all 90 degree backins Good people and well maintained. Nice pool. When going to the park you want to go a mile or so past the small church on the right side of the road. There is a sign on the left side of the road but is fairly easy to miss. Send me an e-mail or PM if you want more details.
Mossmoor. Could that be Rossmoor. I don't remember that being a RV park.

Mossmoor is listed in the state campground listing several places. My son-in-law is checking out both places.
