Graham, Your 3465sa does NOT weigh 12,000 lbs. That is the keystone listed dry weight of the unit as delivered from the factory. That unit has a gross weight rating around 15,500lbs or so. When get it loaded up for travel, go get it weighed and you will be surprised at the #s. Probably much closer to the 15,500 #

Your right beeje, that's what I meant to say...it's the dry weight. But it's also true that the 'dry weight' of the newer models has been creeping up. I've even looked at the newer 30 ft Arctic Fox 5th wheels and they are near 12,000 lbs dry weight.

The dry weight of any RV is a worthless #. Everyone should only use the gross weight # when comparing units. You may not get it that heavy but what if you do. Mine has been over its GVWR a few times loaded for a 2 week long + trip. IMHO the manufacturers should not be publishing the dry weight as it only causes confusion for buyers making them think they can tow it with the listed towing capacity of their truck.

I will add one more thing. I have a 2019 305RL MHC which I tow with a GMC 2500HD, 6L gas engine. I bought a 'work truck' which means it has a 4.56 rear and rated to tow 17,500. 5er GRVW is 13,500. I also added Firestone air bags so I can keep everything level (headlights, etc) when I'm towing.

I try real hard NOT to be the weight police, but some times I feel compelled to do so. First off, I just went to the keystone website to look up a 2019 305RL. Its Gross weight rating is 14,300 (not what you stated). That puts between 2860lbs at 20% and 3575lbs at 25% pin weight on your truck. I do not know the year and configuration of your truck but I assure you that you are WAY over its cargo capacity.
