Camping World Tucson

CW often seems to get a bad rap here. I just got my rig back from warranty repairs at the Tucson CW - 4 fairly minor issues, the biggest was water heater not working on gas. Everything was fixed right, it took about a week to get the card needed to fix the water heater.

I did not buy my rig here or at another CW but they still gave me great warranty service. Doug Deets was my service advisor and he does his best to make happy customers. I know all CW are not the same and your mileage may vary.

Our high season for camping is starting to wind down making it easier to get in for service. I got an appointment 48 hours out and had to leave the rig for 7 days.

Our season is just getting started!

It should be no surprise that the largest RV dealership network in the country has a large target in its back. Likewise, no surprise you can buy an RV from such a large dealer at a lower price. CW has a major advantage over other dealers based on their volumes.

However, when it comes to service, I suspect on average you will consistently get better results at service only (as in no sales) businesses. Dealers only do service because they have too!!

There are exceptions of course and that’s why this forum is so handy! Nothing like first hand reviews from folks you can trust!!

Some Camping Worlds are good, others not so much. We use the CW in Albuquerque for annual maintanence every year. In and out the same day.

CW is just a hit or miss proposition. Happy your experience was a hit. I hope mine is as well tomorrow.

Nice to know since Tucson and ABQ are the two of the CW's closest to me. Anyone have experience with Salt Lake City CW?
