remote control furnace problems

After the third season of dealing with furnane control problems on my 2005 2950rk and having the dealer tell me their is nothing I could do, I was so glad to join MOC and see that I was not alone. I have written to Fleetwood for help in obtaining a replacement set-up that is hard wired. I mentioned all of the help they have given members like yourselves in replacing the units. I would like to thank you for all the information and am looking forward to the replacement parts if they arrive. will keep you posted.

Fleetwood? Did you mean Keystone?

I had to replace both the thermostat and the circuit board in the air conditioner.

I had to pay for it with my own money too.

Then I had to block off the heater vent right under the new thermostat because the heater would run for 60 seconds, stop for 60 seconds, run for 60 seconds. It drove us nuts!

No problems now.

I seem to remember, some MOCers with remote comtrols had there remotes replaced with a wall mount thermostat. You can try a Search and see if you can find any info.

Edit: Try this thread: http://tinyurl.com/34un76
Eaglerunner replaced his remote and seems very knowledgeable on this issue. If you have any questions, you can PM him.
