all ready to pull out tomorrow for FL

well I am ready to drop but the Monty is all packed and ready to go. We will pull out in the morning about 5AM. We are in northern MI and a BIG storm in moving this way so we want to get south of it before we have to fight snow!!! This year we are going to take 65 down and see some different scenery. Will post when we get there.

Safe travels, Roger, Sue, and Megan. We're heading for Alabama this morning after a good grandma fix with the grandgirls. You'll be passing close to our house, about 18 miles from our house. Ride the bumps slowly through Montgomery. They've gotten bad the last couple of years but it's mostly in town. Email us if you've got time for lunch.

Roger, drive fast through the Florida panhandle. There's all those outlet malls and with a new grandbaby on the way..... Well, you've been warned!

I hope you're making good time! Here in Kansas City (Independence) we're getting ice and it's headed east. I hope you get south quickly enough today to avoid this storm.

I would think that they are well past the Michigan Ohio state line by now, if they left as planned at 5 AM. We are still at about 55 or better, and a bit of mist. (We are about 30 miles north of the Ohio line). Supposed to be OK still tomorrow, but watch out by Friday. Or, at least that was the last forecast I heard.

Steve, send the ice somewhere else, oh, no one wants it??? SIGHHHHH

Arived yesterday here at Lake Rousseau in Crystal River FL. We are all set up been to the store and just enjoying the warm weather. Talked to friends at home in northern MI and they have around 18 inches of new snow!!! We got out of Dodge just in time! Good trip no problems and liked the trip down 65.

Sue, It looks like you are real close to where we are for the next couple of months. We are in Bushnell. Perhaps we could meet for lunch some day.

Welcome to the Sunshine state. Crystal River is about 60 to 65 miles up Rte 19 from us. If you happen to decide to head south and will be getting any where near Clearwater on a Sat or Sun give us a shout. Maybe we can meet for lunch. During the week it would have to be breakfast or dinner.

Roger and Sue I'm so jealous that you're in Florida where it's warm. We're still here in Michigan and freezing. Glad you beat the storm and that you had a safe trip. Enjoy!!!

How's Megan doing?
