Yokohama Tires

Does anyone have any experience with Yokohama Geolandar HT/S tires on their TV? They have good ratings on several web sites. Talked with other RV's recently during trip to Oregon and got good reports on the tire.

I have them on my Chev Dually and they are great for ride and noise but I have not been real happy with wear. The ones I bought were mileage guaranteed to 60K. Discount had to replace the rears at 25K and the fronts were worse. Not alot of hauling, mostly city driving on dry pavement. I still have them on the TV and until I win the lottery they are in my price range. If money was no object I would look at the Michelins for wear and durability.

Just purchased 6 of the Yokohamas to put on our dually; they have a great warranty and lots of Dealers thoughout the Country. Our original OEM Continentals just did not make the grade. 25,000 miles and the rears are worn to less than 25% tread that is left.

I have the AT/S's just put them on the Dodge.

I was really disappointed with the mileage and wear on the Michelins I had, especually for the cost! And the OEM Goodyears were really bad, I think they were gone in 23K.

The AT/S had a 40K replacement warranty in the E range tire...and the price was very good.

I put Geolanders on our Montana when the original Tacoma tires wore out. They performed well. These were E rated LT tires of the same size as the or the original LT Tacomas. (At that time, all Montanas came with LT tires, the use of ST tires came some time after 2005).
