Clenn the counters.

Can anyone tell what you use to clean the kitchen counters on a 2010 Mountaineer? Thanks for the help.

We just had ours in to have a crack repaired. The folks who produce the counters told us to use a mild auto polishing compound.

If they are Corian, the manufacturer (Dupont) has specific recommendations and even specific product brands they endorse. Here is a link to their page on cleaning and scratch repair:

The 2010 Mountaineers have some sort fiberglass resin based counter tops, not the Corian of the Big Montanas. I have used a mild automotive cleaner wax like Meguires with some good results. They have several different compounds available. It will not buff out a deep scratch such as those made by knife blades, but generally will restore minor scratches and the shine.

HI, Just browsing and saw this posting. A technician that supported the Ionia Michigan rally introduced us to Gel-Gloss which can be bought at Camping World or Meijers. It's in a pink and white bottle. We had scratches on our countertops (2012) and used this with micro fiber cloth for most of it. We had a deep scratch and gently worked it in with small square of the green scrubber material used to clean dishes. Our counter has not looked as good for months. Leaves a deep shine with slick surface. Also works great on bathroom sinks and those hard to remove stains/streaks on the outside of the Monty

I use Gel Clean polish. It comes in an aerosol can or a can like car polish. You can buy it in home depot.

I just did ours last night with rubbing compound (some elbow grease) and then a good coat of car polish, looks good.
