How to Remove wallpaper border

Has anyone replaced the wallpaper border in their Montana? Mine is curling and is brittle. Want to remove it and replace with something more up to date (I have a 2000 3255RL). Any hints or tips would be appreciated!

I just pulled the border off the wall. It might have helped that I did it as soon as we got the trailer. It didn't do any damage to the wall, that stuff must be made of iron!!! There are small remnants of glue left of the wall....you can't see them...but you can feel it. I have tried everything to get that off....to no avail. I even tried to get some commercial product recommended that was not available in California. They offered to ship it to me in large quantities....no thanks!! We've learned to live with the bits of invisible glue. I would imagine that if you are replacing the border, you would have no trouble...just extra stickiness!! Good luck.

You are right it is TOUGH STUFF! my wife did it to our old Big Sky and we tried GOOP adhesive remover, wd40 etc... and that helped but did not take all of it off so she just kept scrubbing with a scotch brite pad and hot soapy water and Finally got it all off...WHEW!!

My favorite method of removing wallpaper is to let someone else do it.
