Anyone hiding out in Anacortes Wa.

Well we made a little road trip to Anacortes. We will be staying at Pioneer Trails for a few nights while we take in the sights. There are a few Montana's in the park so I am sure a few are members. It also felt good to run in to one of my working partners before he left for the weekend. Since I have spent close to 2 years of my working life camped here it was like old home week. Anyone looking for a great place to stay while in this area this is it.
I did get to meet a couple from California tonight that are staying in the park and they happen to be pulling a nice looking Big Sky. So hello to Jim.

Larry it was great meeting you. We have been full timing it for a little over a year now and you are the first MOC member we have run into. Kind of strange it took so long.
I'm looking forward to some more good conversation time while you are here.
For anyone up this way, please come look us up. We will be here all winter ( burr) and this is the best park in the area.

It's good to get some feedback on Pioneer Trails. We've always stayed at Fidalgo Bay but their prices are now what I'd call ridiculous, the "amenities" non-existent and on our last visit there, the customer service folks very close to being rude. They've lost our group for good!

Ron, This is a clean well run and friendly park. They are always working to upgrade the park and I like the layout as there are spots in the trees or out in open which ever you would like. They have rates per the month and many folks have been here for years as they work at one refinery's in the area. I think there is 8 or more guys here that I know have been here at least 2 years or more. I just came up here for pizza at Village Pizza uptown!! Or maybe it was for the fish and chips at Bowling Alley or the muffins at the bakery just south of roundabout on main street!
