Not sure, but know that CW sells replacements, in a wood cutting board type of thing. John and Marge replaced theirs. Maybe they will happen along to give ya some hints.

I already bought a cutting board on E-bay. I just need to get the old cover off.

Raise the cover about 1/3 to half way. On the left side, there is a slot in the long hinge. pull forward and up, gently. When the left side is free, then angle the cover up and to the left to get the solid hinge to come off the protruding pin.

Just to note, Steve and I repainted ours. It was looking a little beat up. We got a spray can of applicance paint at Home Depot I believe (black) and in no time it was as good as new! I even sprayed a bit of it in a stryofoam cup and took a hobby brush and touched up the parts in the monty that didn't come off. Shines like a new penny now!

An additional note here - use a BBQ black. It is made to withstand heat. I did one of our previous 5ers stove and it lasted very well.
Happy trails.......................
