Doran tire pressure sensor system

Hi One of our campers just bought the Doran system to monitor the 5th wheel tire pressures while on the road. Syestem cost $390 for a 4 wheel setup. Has anyone used them and have an opinion? They seem like a great thing to me. Dan

foggyb,
Here is a link to this very discussion.

I use the search method on the web.
As you will see my only negative comment was radio interference from my Ham radio on the third Harmonic and primary frequency. I like the unit and may consider it again and change my radio habits.
Blowing a trailer tire really scares me.

foggyb,
we have the Doran system and really like it. Most of the time it's quiet, but every so often it has something to report. Mostly, after a really cold night it will go off if one of the tires is a bit down due to the cold temps.

Jack,
I got the Doran BECAUSE it needed no external antenna. Works just fine for all 8 wheels. Sometimes I forget to change the setting when we unhook and it will start beeping at me,....after I get about 75' away!
