Scare light wont go off

While camping this weekend, we used both scare lights on our 2011 3665RE, and cut them off .....we came home and unhooked etc...did not notice lights on, the light that is on is the one on the awning side and the one over the 5th wheel....the problem is this.....I figured switch went bad but not so...while taking out switch I pulled the wires off and the light stayed on...I have pulled every 12 volt fuse in the panel and the light stays on...we have not used our remote for years and the battery is dead so that can't be the problem I don't think...I even tried to cut the battery switch to off in the command center and the light still stays on so it also appears the battery cutoff does not work as well...I have never used that either as we keep our camper plugged in year round.....so what can the problem be? And how do we figure it out? Where else can a fuse etc be? It looks like the wires will be £€#¥% to trace.....any ideas or help appreciated....could it be in the light fixture?....

Try the light on/off switch on your remote control.

Sounds like you turned them on with the remote. The only way to turn them off is with the remote if they've been turned on by the remote.

One of your receiver relays may be bad. Just disconnect the wire attached to "Lights" on the remote receiver in the front compartment. Make sure you insulate it as it is tied in with the manual switch inside.

Our 2010 did the same thing 3 years ago, more than once, I found the remote control box in the battery compartment was the issue. The lights are controlled from the remote, or the small rocker switch in the coach, what I did, since we never use, nor care for the remote is disconnect the remote side of the light, the controller on ours is in the battery compartment, listed on the left side are what each wire goes to, the second one down says lights, remove the wire at the connector, put a piece of tape over the wire connector, and tie it out of the way, everything works just fine.
