Les and Sue,
I am coming into Sioux Falls Monday, night 27 and leaving Wed Morning.
I was going to use the KOA. Since you are staying at Tower, I assume you recommend it.

We highly recommend Tower, John. We have stayed there twice when getting our South Dakota resident criteria. If you have Alternative Resources, you get a discount. If you don't have your mail forwarding service yet please tell the girls at Alternative we sent you.

We really like the Jellystone park for our size rig.. Did NOT like the KOA there John and Tower was tight the one and only time we stayed there about 8 years ago.. You do need to bring your receipt with you to get your drivers licenses.

Helen, Tower has really expanded since you were probably there. We could have put two rigs in our site and they have added a lot of new sites. Just for your FYI.

John,
We really enjoyed meeting you. You have a great home on the road and you made us feel very comfortable. Thanks for all the great tips!
Looking forward to our paths crossing again!!
Safe travels wherever that may be!
Best regards,

Just wanted to update and advise folks on some of the really good campgrounds we stayed along the way (albeit one nighters, but none the less).
Along US80, Joliet, IL....Hollywood Casino Exit 127 $37/ night
Along US29, Paducah, KT...Duck Creek RV Park, Exit 11 $35/ night
Along US81, Bristol, TN....Lakeview RV Park, Exit 69 $43/ night
All had large pull thrus and all had full hook-ups with 50 amp.
All were Good Sam.

We recommend "Broken Arrow" SD campground. Just outside of Custer SD. Have stayed there a few times.
