Campgrounds on Canadian Side of Niagara Falls
Can anyone offer any suggestions for a good RV park on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls? We will be there for about 7 days would like a nice park for the week?
Thanks!

There's Niagara Falls KOA up on Lundy Lane, we've stayed there numerous times, but not recently, straight shot down to the Falls. There's another just East of the Falls closer to the River, never stayed there and don't recall the name.

We enjoyed our stay at the KOA... There is a bus you can take that goes by the front of the park down to the Falls... Great way to get around...

I have Trailer Life's mapping program and it shows two Niagara Falls KOAs, one in Niagara Falls Canada about 6-7 miles from the Falls and the other on Grand Island on the U.S. side about 7-8 miles from the Falls.
Last time were in the area we traveled by car and the Canadian side was far better in facilities, lodging, view, etc. but the KOAs are not close to the border so I don't know which one would be better. We stayed in what turned out to be a pretty simple, no nonsense motel. Not a great place as we recall but we only stayed there for the bed and shower, otherwise we were out and about for two days.
From the same Trailer Life program there are quite a few RV listed campgrounds in the area but I don't have any other information other than the name, address and the TL ratings.
Does anyone else have information on these additional places within 10 miles (as the crow flies) of the Niagara Falls Attraction (TL Ratings, P=RV Park, R=Restrooms, V=Visual of the park)? I also included the compass direction they are located from the Falls, including the KOAs discussed above.
- U.S. side, Cinderella Motel & CG, P=3/R=8.5/V=7. ESE.
- U.S., Niagara Falls KOA, P=8/R=8/V=8. ESE
- Canada, Riverside Park Motel & CG, P=8/R=7/V=8. S.
- Canada, King Waldorg's Tent & Trailer Park, P=6/R=7/V=7.5. SW.
- Canada, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park-Camp Resort, P=8.5/R=9/V=8.5. SSW
- Canada, Scott's tent & Trailer Park, P=7.5/R=8/V=7.5. W.
- Canada, Niagara Falls KOA, P=9/R=8/V=7.5. W.
- Canada, Campark Resorts Best Holiday Trav-l-park, P=8/R=8/V=8. W
This is just a sample list. There may be other suitable CGs but I don't have that info. There are also quite a few more campgrounds within 20 miles including a Nigara Falls/Lewiston KOA. It seems there's plenty of places close by mostly on the Canadian side.
It is a place we will always remember. If you get a chance to take the boat to the falls it is called "Maid of the Mist", but it's NOT a mist... it is a torrential downpour being right next to the falls. Far worse than we anticipated. LOL! But we'd do it again.
