Saw you guys too. You were the only Montana that ever flashed us back. We saw five that day plus you. The back up had nothing to do with the Ducks. Down by the Marathon Coach factory where one of the RV dealers used to be, they had a small racetrack and they were racing Miatas. Everyone was slowing down to look at that. Once we got passed it traffic flow was fine. It caused about a 20 mile back up though. We were cussing all of the Duck fans until we saw the real cause

I hate lookie-loos... The driver should always concentrate on the road conditions, not the accident, any event or unnecessary gawking. My wife, the passenger does the looky-looing for me. She'll give me the details but I keep my eyes on the road, and mostly at the driver's ahead that are rubbernecking at the diversion. I've been known to honk if that driver starts to slow too much so they can look. So far, it's worked to remind them to get going again. I'm always amazed that most drivers forget the terrible wait time it took to get to the vantage point instead of giddying up. Is it really worth the reward of getting a first-hand impression of what caused the slow down?
If I'm alone I still keep my eyes on the road or my mirrors or in some cases, the traffic officer trying to get us going.
