Ladder-Mounted Clothes Rack

On a couple of recent occasions I have seen what looks like a ladder mounted clothes rack that folds down and extends outward to the rear at a 90 degree angle. Looks like a great device for drying towels, bathing suits, etc. Does anyone know where this item can be purchased? I called Camping World and for the first time in three years, they were stumped. Did not know what I was talking about.

Thanks,

Bill

I have seen these clothes racks also. We have some friends who picked one up at an RV rally. There must be other places that sell them. If you find out, please post it here. We are currently using one of the homemade plastic pipe setups and fold it up when traveling.

Be aware these are not allowed in a lot of campgrounds. Any type of clothesline or clothes hanging anywhere outside. The old days of tent camping and stringing a line between 2 trees is over!
Happy trails.......................

Go up and look at one installed and measure it and make it your self out of PVC pipe and clothes line. It doesn't cost very much. And yes there are many campgrounds that don't allow them. But many still do. we have had ours for three years now and wouldn't leave home without it. If you make it right, it folds flat and goes into the basement along with the chairs and other have to have items.

We bought one at a craft fair in the RGV last winter for $25 which was hand made. There were lots of them in the campground where we stayed and almost all were homemaden in different sizes. I have used our extensively and love it.

I think what you are looking for is from a business called

RV ENTERPRISES

CROSS VILLE,TN

We have one and really like it. We got ours at the camper show in the RV.

This is a really great idea! Thanks for sharing. I've been wondering what to do to dry our rather thick towels. Even if not allowed some places, you can just use them where you can. I had never seen anything like this and I definately would like one. Making one ourselves is an even better idea.
