Lazy susan
I know I read here someplace, but could not find with search, That some of you removed the lazy susan under the kitchen sink, and replaced with some type of sliding trays/baskets?? I want to do this but can not find out where to purchase them, does anyone have this info or ideas?? Home Depot does not carry anything which will fit, because of 1 foot wide door size. Thanks in Advance. Ron

I bought the simple white covered wire shelves at Walmart so I have two levels on which to store pots and pans.

What Judy said goes for us as well. The lazy Susan went in the trash.

I have one in our Mountaineer but it is above the countertops in a corner . You are right ,its useless. Wife is almost 6 ft. tall and has to use a small stool to reach into the thing. Most of the time the stuff on it is all over the sides when we stop. Its comeing out before we head south for the winter.

Lazy Susan is history. We did not install anything in it's place. Removing it allowed better utilization of the space. The white wire shelves that Judy is talking about can also be bought at Lowe's or Home Depot along with mounting brackets.

We also did the same as Judy.
See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!

To elaborate on what Steve said ... we did put the wire shelves (the kind that's covered in white vinyl) under the sink. However, I put white Sterlite baskets on them and put our canned goods in the baskets. Very simple, not expensive and easy to access.

I don't know what we would do if we didn't have the plastic Sterlite baskets or containers that Vicki mentioned. We even have them on the two shelves we put in our W/D closet and hold them in place with two tension rods. This method allows us to carry lots more STUFF. It's all about STUFF, right?
