PullRite Hitch Lubrication Change

Have any of you PullRite Hitch owners read the recent mailing from them regarding the SLIP PLATE spray lubricant that they say can be used in place of the white lithium grease?

This seems like a really great option but I cannot find a retail dealer that sells this product. Has anyone found a source for this spray lubricant yet?

I love this hitch but the greasing is always so messy. According to their testing on 3000 plus trips it works great.

I have not found anything in the mail or email about the product your talking about. I still use the white lithium grease from Napa. Sells for $4 a container and really seems to last. I will agree with you, the Superglide is a pain to clean and regrease. But this hitch is well worth the daily extra work to keep it lubricated properly.

I too received the mailing from PullRite to which you are referring, but since the white lithium grease has served me well to date, I saw no reason to change.

I haven't received any mailing or email either, and I fully agree that the Superglide is a pain to maintain, but I just absolutely love this hitch!!

PulRite has evaluated a dry spray on lubricant for the Superglide. It is called SLIP PLATE.

I agree that this is a great hitch, but the improvement with this spray graphite is probably going to prolong the hitch life. The tubes being exposed to sand and dirt will cause wear no matter how much maintenance you do. I will be changing to it this spring.
