Me? An RV Salesman???? Part II

Well guess I'm gonna be an RV salesman but not until the 28th. Gotta do the usual background and drug test stuff.

The reason I didn't mention the dealer or brands was I didn't want anything to jinx the deal.

The dealer is Suncoast RV in Pinellas Park and among other brands they handle both ---

MONTANA & MOUNTAINEER

After speaking to the GM today I am totally confident that their customers are getting the service after the sale that they deserve and expect. That was one of my biggest concerns.

And to tink I all ways yoused RV because I couldnt spell wreckreeashunal veehikel salsman now I are 1.

BTW-If you use spel chek and it dont like the word you speld you can tell it to add it to the dicshunary. I just updated my dicshunary and Ill nevr mispel an other word.

Congrats Glenn! You should be a good salesman. It is easy to sell something you truly believe in!!! The thought of doing what you are going to do has certainly crossed my mind for the future!!! Keep us posted.
It is much easier to sell something that people really want as compared to selling them something that they really need!

Congratulations, Glenn! Suncoast. Is that the dealer near Tampa where we stopped to see the Cambridge after the RV show last January?

If so, don't salesmen get a demonstrator, like car salesmen? So maybe a Cambridge for you???

The Cambridge dealer is Lazydays on I-4 next to the Camping World.

Suncoast is on the other side of Tampa just south of Clearwater.
In fact it is 6.3 miles from our campsite.
Suncoast also represents Montana/Mountaineer at the January RV show in Tampa.

As far as me owning a Cambridge? Don't ever see that happening.
You'll never be able to justify to me the extra cost of the Cambridge versus the Montana.
There are a few bells and whistles I would like but not for the difference in price and I am sure that if you wait a couple years the Monty's will also have those same bells and whistles.
If I were to upgrade at all it will be to the 3400 or the 3500 and I will still be towing it with my 2500HD D/A. I found something good in the Montanas and I have no plans of switching. Even though Cambridge is another Keystone product it ain't no Montana.

Shoot, now I wished I would have waited a few months and bought my new unit from a "friend"! Seriously it would be nice giving business to someone who you know is so passionate about the product and the people. Maybe next time.

Glenn, you will do a great job selling something that practically sells itself!!!! What impresses me the most about a salesman is when he KNOWS what he is talking about. It burns me to hear a salesman tell a customer that his Super Duty 5.4 will pull a 37ft Everrest. I'm not picking on a Ford cause I feel the same way for a 2500HD 6.o. Sure,the truck will pull it, I just think the owner won't be very happy with 6 or 7 MPG and the speeds it runs on the hills. By the way, I had a 2500 with 6.0 gas and the mileage sucked! If you set it up right, you could actually move the Monty with a 10hp garden tractor, you won't go anywhere very fast and the fuel consumption will be a LOT.

Suncoast RV has just made a smart move in hiring you. Like stated before, it sure is nice to get a salesman who knows the product and what he is talking about. Congratulations!!!
