Texas Hill Country

Just did my rookie trip to Fredericksburg RV Park in Fredericksburg, TX. The facility is great with big rig pull thrus, great staff, WiFi, laundry, and lot so great RV'ers. I have lots of help getting set up and getting ready to leave. If you want to play golf, the city park is great along with Double B Ranch about 17 miles away. Also a great course at Comfort, Texas, Buckhorn GC. Already planning our next trip!

Tim and Susan,
Another great park in this area is in Kerrville "By the River Campground" large spaces and quiet. It is not on the main drag you go off the main drag and down a side street and down by the river. Nice people to deal with - they have a lot of work campers who treated us very nice.

Thought you might like to know - we stayed there in November/December while visiting some friends.

Isn't Fredericksburg a great place to visit?? We stayed in the same park our first time there. Two weeks was not long enough.

We really like Fredericksburg, too. Just came through there a couple of weeks ago. Next time you go, stop in Dripping Springs at the New Canaan Farms store there for some of the best jams, jellies, etc. you can find. BTW, we went to Lukenbach, Texas, too, but Willie and Waylon and the boys weren't there. Not much of anything else, either!

Check out the following campground, we are new to the camping world and found this great place. Great fishing and the sunsets are priceless. It wouldn't be a far drive for you.
