Workcamping Melvern Lake, Kansas

We will be workcamping at the COE Melvern Lake in Kansas. Five miles north of I35 and 75 Highway. We start April 1 and leave Oct. 31. We will be camped in loop A of the Outlet Park. Stop and see us.

Great to hear Richard -- Now, how much do you suppose it will cost me to get a decent FISHING REPORT.... ha ha. I make a few trips that direction from Tecumseh, just outside of Topeka, during the summer months with my boat in hope's of catching a few fish, nice to know there is one of the FAMILY near by, should I need a cup of coffee and someone to visit with. Have a great Summer.

I spent some time in that park and over at Eisenhower SP back when we lived in Topeka. Good walleye fishing in Melvern in those days. Crappie, too.

Thanks for the invitation. Nice idea to let the MOC family know. I plan to spend this summer in New England, so I won't be out that way this year. Have a great summer. April 1 is just around the corner.

While you are there, run around to Ike park and Tell the manager Dale Schweiger that Melody Burkholder says to Write when he finds work!!!!!
He will be amazed and confused.
Seriously, all the state parks are good to work with in that area, just depends on what sort of works situation you are looking for.

Rak;
Hope to see you soon. Melvern is one of favorite camping areas, although haven't been there yet this spring. It is only a short trip from Gardner, Ks.
