Before the dropped frame when all the tanks were on one level, we used to do that with a gate valve when boon docking. The tanks today are mounted at two different heights and the galley tankwould drain everything to the shower tank first. Once the shower tank is *FULL* the galley tank will start accumulating water. It also then increases the water pressure on the shower tank. The older two piece tanks tended to pop their lid when overfilled. Maybe the new one piece roto-spun tanks can survive but I will let someone else test them.
