Assistance for a Friend

My neighbor here at the campground has a SOB 5th wheel and last night they had a strong oder in the camper and they had to vacate it for the night. He said it smelled like a strong sewer smell. He mentioned he had a headache today from it. My wife and I also noted a strong sewer smell earlier last evening outside between their 5th wheel and ours. It lasted outside for about 10 minutes and than disipated. He flushed his tanks real good tonight and so far the oder has not returned.

Anyone have any suggestions on what it might be and a fix?
