That answers my question about the IS. That's on the add in near future list for sure now!

The mountaineer name disappeared a couple of years ago and the Montana became two models. The Montana and the Montana legacy. The "Montana" is the Former Mountaineer. I recall seeing this at the fall rally when that occurred and I thought well we got a upgrade to a Montana Legacy on our 13 3402 which till that time was the "Montana"

We got new correlle when we bought the RV, which has fallen a couple of times when we oppened the door and sometimes when we were just trying to get something out of the cabinet. So we have gotten rid of the correlle. Unbreakable plates and a little paper padding and a couple pieces of foam between the favorite mugs does the trick.

After 4 tire failures, I upgraded to heavier tires and put air bags on my truck. I think it's a pretty smooth ride in the RV. But bouncing over some of these unexpected bridge approaches, some of the irregular patches and deep pot holes, it's a wonder it doesn't throw the dishes clear out the window.

Yep. We started Velcro tie wrapping the cupboard doors closed on our second trip with the unit. As described in OP posts the DW became the queen of padding and packing cupboards containing breakable dinner and glass ware. We went to melamine plates. Even one of those got a chip. Don't get me wrong, we really like the Mountaineer, design warts and all. But a midships kitchen could be nice. Maybe we'll have to look more closely at the Mor Ryde IS.

Agree. Never read the level of issues with a mountaineer that I have seen with the High Countries.

I have a 2012 Mountaineer 347tht and it has wood cabinets and a corian countertop

When I was researching prior to my purchase of my rig I found this brochure from the model year.

It was my understanding the Montana High Country was more of a lightweight package, also available the same year model. (See manual link).
