Anybody Using The Micro-Air Easy Start

I am thinking about putting in the Micro-Air on our 15,000 AC system. I am using two Honda 2000 IS generators in parallel now.
I would like to keep them from working so hard when running the air. Anything thing I should know about it before I purchase a Micro-Air? Thanks

got it

I had these on my last camper and moved them to a new 3791 we just bought with 2 15,000 a/c`s. I have 3 Yamaha`s in parallel and they really help get the units started an running. Yep a tad expensive but I bought the circuit board version only and made my own enclosures for them, not hard and saved a pile of money. Just be carful of the terminals on the start capacitor you take out, you can get a nasty shock if you ground them in your hand. If your not familiar with how to discharge them you can find many clips about this on YouTube.

The soft start for AC units are used by sailboaters like Gone With The Wynns and they have solar power for running their AC unit on their catamaran sailboat. The Wynns used to be RVer and switched to sailing, so they have both experiences. I recommend looking them up on the web and posting them about their experiences.

I installed a 50 amp receptacle in the front of the camper with a transfer switch that allows me to power the camper while traveling.
