Professional football players should never never miss a pass in their numbers

Was an interesting game...certainly making it to near the end of dance is something to be proud of. John

Scott, since Da Bears were a non issue this year I was cheering for you. My take was they got too conservative with about 4 minutes left in the game and took their foot off the gas. The clock is important but this game proved that ONLY worrying about the clock and not trying to score can come back to bite you late in the game.

Looks like Seattle and NE. Cause so far tonight the Colts aren't doing anything.

Actually, I thought they blew it when they couldn't score a touchdown the first couple of times in the red zone. That always comes back to bite you, it just took longer than normal this time.

I agree with Dick: The Packers had 2 turnovers early and scored field goals. Even at that point, I thought they blew their opportunity. But they held, kept making big plays on defense, until the end. It seemed they were playing to not lose, rather than playing to win, as Joe said. So, it looks like we'll have to deal with Jimmy until my Patriots tame them in 2 weeks..GO PATS!!

The Packers weren't 'bad' enough unfortunately. At least they were in a giving mood on Sunday because they abdicated and gave the game to Seattle. Not taking anything away from the Hawks as they are a great team but the Packers gave Seattle quite a bit of help in the last several minutes.

We are BIG Hawks fans but after watching the Patriots game, I'm thinking Seattle is going to have to get more Bad Boy training before Feb. 1st.

watch yourself bigskyjimmy. The fact that RD edited you should denote this forum considered your language inappropriate, so questioning inside subsequent posts about allowing others to reply the same isn't recommended.

Now, there's a risk this whole topic will get whacked, but this topic isn't terribly important so no harm or foul. For what it's worth, the Pack blew it and it did start with them in the first quarter only getting two field goals instead of two TDs. Go PATS (only cuz I don't like them less than the Hawks). But this Superbowl was predictable. I'm just glad it's in AZ, not Seattle. I don't like that 12th man.
