This week's morning view in the hills of WV
Another workday sunrise greeting postcard view at the office atop a mountain in Boone County, WV. A greeting such as this has to portend a day that has to be a good one! Hope all have a great Bonus Day today!!

Last nights sunset out here was a great one also. God is the greatest artist if we just take time to appreciate the works.

I agree wholeheartedly, particularly with your statement "if we just take time to appreciate"

Living in Southern California a sky like that means there are fires somewhere. Nice to know this is a possibility without something burning up (or down).

Small world, I looked at your profile and see State College, PA. That brings back my memories! My father was over the ROTC at Penn State way back when (1974-75 if my failing memory recalls correctly) and I attended Bellefonte High School in 9th grade and State College Area High School in 10th grade. Remember running track and cross-country then (back when State College had a run of 100 straight dual meet cross country wins!). Cool! We moved from State College to Randolph County, WV where I completed High School.

Bingo, my wife is from Lock Haven, and I have stayed at Bellefonte several times, while fishing Fisherman's Paradise, and Little Pine Creek. Go shopping in the afternoon at Woolrich.

And the threads of the fabric that comprise this small world we live in become even more intertwined! I remember the name Lock Haven, but can't remember much about it. Of course, that was over 40 years ago!!

Just over from Mill Hall, past the ax handle plant. Father in law thinks everything was bigger and better in PA, but he hasn't lived there since 1965.
