Molls Tiara Post Missing!!

Been off-grid for a while and thought I would come back and see how the Molls are doing with the backlash from the Tiara debacle.

Interesting that there is no search item for Tiara...in fact, the thread doesn't exist anymore. It isn't even listed under the Moll's "subscribed to" list. When I brought it up from an old email post, it said I didn't have access to that post. Meaning, it is there, but no one can access it.

I never posted anything to their post, anyway; I just subscribed for the fun of it.

Amazing what MOC administrators can do or will not do depending on who the effected person is and their supposed circumstances? No rocket science needed here to see who runs the show.

If that's what happened, it is their forum, not ours, so it is their right. We can always start our own forum if we don't agree. On the other hand I think the Molls have had enough. They left the Rally early, even missing winning a door prize. This has always been a friendly forum and that thread was trending away from that. Let's please let the issue die.

Sad to hear that this went wrong. So many others have enjoyed the site and it's posts.

Robbie, I guess I am just a little shocked that you would have subscribed to something "for the fun of it" when it involves someone's misfortune. It is entirely possible that they themselves may have asked to have the post removed, since I believe that is an option they can request since it is their post. I guess I just don't see the situation as entertaining reading. I agree with DQDick, we should just let the issue die.

Censorship is alive and thriving on the MOC. The US Constitution does not apply to a private web forum.

Helen was pretty much personally attacked by many on that thread, which is a big no-no and always has been as long as I have been on the forum. What does censorship have to do with it? Whether the thread was deleted by the forum administration or not is irrelevant. I feel that any thread which turns or even appears to turn into a personal attack should have no place on a forum of any kind and particularly the MOC. We should be lifting people up and providing support, not tearing people down and questioning them! Sorry, off the soapbox now!

I will have to agree with Bingo and The Couch Potatoes, I dont think censorship has anything to do with removal of anything disruptive, hurtful or by a bullie. The rules were agreeded by every member that signed up to use ths forum.

Agreed. Personal attacks have no place on the MOC forum.

Don't confuse pointing out the opposite side of a story with personal attacks. In any event, I don't believe that was the reason it was removed since it's easy to remove the offending posts while leaving the rest in place.

I agree with Tom, an opposite point of view is not a personal attack.

Because then someone will ask where it went. Best to just close it and let it be, IMHO.
