removing/replacing galley tank

I found the leak in my galley tank and put a patch on it.
Question is, how does one get a holding tank out and replace it. In specific, how are the input drains connected? Are there any diagrams/photos of the task?

Illapah,

I was told by a Keystone tech to cut or disconnect the drain pipe under the sink. As it turned out, I did not have to remove mine.
The underbelly cover and insulation is a difficult thing to have to work around.

Where was the leak, what did it do; like, did it leak when using it, leak when full, leak after you drive off from camp after emptying the tank...( water on top of the tank and inside the insulation/black plastic bottom)
Thanks!

If you do drop the tank add a couple of straps to better support it. You will see that this tank is hanging from a lip at the top with no other support and so as it fills and empties the unit flexes and often cracks at the corner. I repaired mine, using a kit from Plasti-mend, without dropping the tank. So far it is holding but if possible I empty the tank before moving.

My tank actually had a leak on the bottom. There is a ridge roughly 1/4" wide and 1/4" deep that runs the length of the tank. Mine had a small leak on the ridge as if it had rubbed against something. But it did not.

Thanks Weldon, it's good to know the types of failures we have.
