Hot Water Heater to Hot
On the out side of the vent for the hot water heater ,it looks like it has been to hot because it was all brown up on the side of the trailer,was wanding if any one else has had this problem.

Sounds like the air fuel mixture is the issue. Make sure it's burning correctly.

If it is burning to rich (yellowish flame) it will leave a somewhat dark brown to blackish spot on the grill where it vents caused by soot. Check and see that the venturi (air intake for burner) is not plugged with lint, spiders web or something.

Bee or spider nests can cause this if the heater hasn't run for a while

I had that once, was a massive spider web in the venturi, cleaned it out and no problem afterwards.
