size of brake shoes

does anyone know the actual size of replacement brake shoes for montana rv. I heard it was 12 inches but unable to confirm....

Depends on what axle you have under your Monty...

The 6,000 and 7,000 lb. axles have 12x2 shoes but the 7,000 have a more aggressive magnet and a different material in the lining, so there is more involved then just size and yes you can put the 7k shoes on the 6k axles

I have 7m axles so 12 shoes should fit . heading toward alaska june 1st... so i will take 12 inches with me thanks
