Kitchen drain plugged

Took Montana out this weekend, before we came home, kitchen drain plugged, very careful not to get anything undesirable down there. Liquid Plumber hasn't helped even after taking gooseneck off, anybody ever have problems w/theirs - how did you get it fixed? Thanks

Bill

OK, here is the first obvious question:

you did pull the galley tank valve to dump the tank, right?? The one that is usually hidden somewhere under a slide, aka, a LONG way from the gray tank valve and/or the black tank valve???

Not sure how this is arranged on the newer units with that fancy all in one command center for water, electric, battery, etc., but that is how it is on our 04.

There are THREE valves, one for each tank.

Sorry, not meant to insult, just the first thing that came to this ole brain!

Carol is right about the valve, on our 07 3400 it is located between the tires on the convenience panel side of the unit. Gray water valve has to be opened and then the galley tank valve. If this is not the case, we need more information as to what exactly you mean by the kitchen drain is plugged?? Is it actually the sink drain or is the probelm in the tank itself??

THANKS TO ALL - WHAT A RELIEF - SAVED ME A LOT OF AGGRAVATION.
This is my first Montana, used last year without a problem. Valve must have been open & must have gotten closed accidently this season while getting it ready to use. Dealer service department did not tell me about this valve - very grateful I didn't have to pull apart the darn thing - you gals are great.

Bill--I also don't want to insult, but just a word of caution--make sure you don't leave the galley tank handle open all the time when you are hooked up. As Richfaa and others will testify, you don't want to let the galley tank drain continually while you are hooked up or you could get the solids deposited in the tank. You need to let the tank fill up and then pull the handle so you have lots of liquid in the tank to carry off the food particles and other solids in the tank.

And let me add my welcome to MOC!!!
