Winterizing

I have a 2955RL, and have always used the pink antifreeze to winterize. Thinking ahead a bit, I’d like to use an air compressor to blow out the lines instead of the antifreeze for next winter. Anyone do this? Any tips would be appreciated.

I do both, put in pink anti freeze and then blow out the lines. The first time I needed to winterize, I had my dealer do it and that was the method they used.

I blow out the line with air then put the pink antifreeze in.
The antifreeze is cheap compared to the cost of fixing water lines.

Like others, I do both. These rigs are too expensive not too. I blow out the lines while draining and flushing the hot water heater (and installing the new anode rod), then flush the system with pink antifreeze. Easy insurance for the winter because guaranteed it will bust the line hardest to get to. Plus, its my last bonding experience before the cover goes on and winter sets in.

We did air only before we went full time with no problems. We did have to use a little antifreeze in the washer, however.
