NBC show kinda humorous
New show on NBC "Road Trip" tonight at 8 pm. Been watching. Bounders Class As, but seems like it may be OK. As long as it represents RVing in the proper light. This is a reality show with 8 families going from Chicago to LA on Route 66.

Well I watched. I know from an RVer perspective, I would like to see more RVing and a little less on the contests which have nothing to do with RVing - so far. I don't want to watch a show that could have been done by families driving a car...

I really think they showed the families were "not" rv'ers. I hope this doesn't get out of hand and turn off prospective rv buyers.

I liked it too, the guy that had the long hair and his wife did the driving were a kick. they sure have a mix of differant personalities, they cant do any alliances in this program, you either win the challange or you go home.

What I found unsettling was it appeared these people were put in the MH with no instructions on how to drive it. I am sure it was done for content and with liability and all, this was not the case.
Still - I will watch it next week and see where it take us.

I watched the first 15 minutes. That's pretty much when I remembered I never did like reality shows.
Wasn't happy missing the first 15 minutes of NCIS but it didn't matter as it was a repeat anyway.

BUT it's intertainment........... and compaired to some of the other junk they have on TV to name a few "The Batcheloret. the Batchler, Servivor, Bigest looser, any game that allows a group of people to gang up and evict a player to better there chances to win is bad. at least the contest that was shown on the RV Show, to send a family home was all in how they moved the ball through the arches, no alliances here, you either do it or you dont.
I do find it interresting as Phillen stated just drop them in a MH and no instructions on how to do anything, of course that could have been done off camera to.

Don't watch any of that stuff. Entertainment..OK but they are PR'ed as reality shows and reality they are not. There are folks who will actually believe that stuff. We did watch the first show...Really funny but not rv'ing.
