Front bedroom roof angle for A/C unit

Looking at installing a 2nd A/C unit in the front bedroom, I am prewired for it but found some A/C unit have a restriction on the amount of angle they can be mounted at. Does anyone know the roof angle (front to back) at the vent over the bed in a '06 3400 ?
Thanks.
Kim

Kim, you are good-to-go on that, many of us have done so.
Good luck, stay safe.

You won't have a problem. Someone else did some research on that angle thing and determined that our front roof angles on our Montys are well within specs for any front A/C.

According to the engineer and the installation drawings the Carrier will NOT work on the front of the Montana. I ended up buying another Dometic.

Is there a difference in the front roof angles of the newer model Montanas? I know they went to the new "continuous" roof line in 2008? Maybe Big Sky's only?

That has been my interpretation of the Carrier specs also. I would think it has to do with the flow of oil in the system. I would think this might have a direct effect on the life of the compressor. JMHO
