We did it!

As of this afternoon, it is official. Our stick house is up for sale. There is still 15 months (452 days, not that I'm counting) until retirement. Seems like the housing market in this area is beginning to tank, so we thought it best to try to sell now in case things would really get bad. If you know anyone that wants a stick house on a hill side south of Mineral City, Ohio let us know.

We only have a couple of minor details to decide on the options for the Big Sky in order to place the order. All of our questions should be answered within a few days and we will be ready to go.
We won't actually place the order until we get a solid offer on the house. Pray for us that we maintain our sanity during the transition.

Congrats on starting the transition to your new life style. All things will happen when they are supposed to, just keep the positive thoughts... =)

I know you are excited about putting your house on the market. We have had ours forsale for about 9 months. Hopefully we'll both have buyers in short order.

Good for you, hope all goes well in the selling of your home. Just remember that it may take longer to get the Montana than it does to close on the stick built. Tough decision to make on when to order the Big Guy.

We now have 13 months until my wife retires so are now talking about putting the stick built on the market and maybe living in the Big Guy this winter. Not looking forward to living in it during the winter around here as it gets so darn cold, but will make the best of it if we go that way.
