New GMC Sierra

Well, Christmas came a bit early this year. Got a good deal, and now have a new 2015 GMC K3500 Sierra SLT, Duramax/Allison, 4X4, one ton, double cab, (modern version of "extended cab") and all the bells and whistles, etc. Color is stealth grey metallic. Main reason we got the new rig is our 2008 GMC one ton has been a great truck. But, with the newer 3725 Monty, found that the 2008 was right at maximum load. The new rigs have been improved with more capacity, which now gives us some "room" on the weight issue. Yes, it is a SRW, but it's also a daily driver, so that entered into the decision. One thing I know I will love is the exhaust brake. One thing I won't love is the "new" DEF system. Oh well, give and take. It's still at the dealers being "tricked out" adding side steps (nerf bars) spray on bedliner, and mudflaps, for starters. Then to get the hitch installed. Guess I'll have to put a bow on it for Christmas day!
