Grey tank pulls

Seems the more I do with my rv I find the less I know and I owned two other rv’s. This is my first fifth wheel. Montana 3791RD Legacy 2018.
My question today is “why are there two grey tank pulls if there is one grey tank 88 gal”. One in the convenience center and one mid rv closer to the drain. I was rushed off so fast from Camping World after finance got their money the walk through actually lasted 10 minutes no exaggeration. And the lady that did it admitted she wasn’t familiar with the unit and no one else was available. Done with camping world.
Sorry to rant , just frustrated. Does anyone know why there are the two Grey pulls?
Being part of the M.O.C. Is the best thing I have done. The help and support is great. Thanks to all.

Are you sure it only has one gray tank? I would guess, like mine it has two. One for the bath up front and the other for the Kitchen (and for us the second bath).

If you can’t find it in your docs, do this.... pull and empty one and close it. Pull the second. If it drains both, you have two tanks.

I believe you have two 44 gallon grey tanks... one for the shower & sink, one for the galley.

You have gray tanks. The pull in the convenience center drains the bath gray and the pull just under the kitchen slide drains the galley gray tank.

If you look at the panel by the light switches you will see it lists tank 1 and tank 2 Black and Battery. One for galley and the other for the rest. (bathroom shower and sink).

Your lucky they even showed you the pull under the Monty, many have posted on here about a full galley tank. We only found ours because we went to a different CW for some items and walked by a Monty in the show room and asked the Salesman what it was for. Went home and found ours.

You have (2) gray tanks one for the the bathroom shower & sink and one for the galley the one under the slide is for the galley most only have (1) black tank unless you have (2)
bathrooms. I don't think most of the people doing the PDI's have a clue of what they are showing you! And they just want to go on to the next pore sole.

Thanks. Finding out Camping World doesn't seem to care about its customers after they get the money for the RV Purchase.

The learning curve for a 5th wheel is very steep. I am still learning after 11 years.

Hard to imagine nearly 90 gallons in one tank. Only logical to have 2 separate tanks. Some dealers besides CW have uniformed and untrained Then, why sign paperwork before a PDI? Buyers should be prepared or beware also.

On our SOB TT we had 2 tanks. First one had 2 valves and 2 outlets. 4 years later they still had 2 tanks, but somewhere they tied either the 2 tanks or outlets together. So it ended up as 2 tanks 1 pull 1 drain. I actually had a smile on my face at the dump station.

Now I am stick in the middle (with you), 2 tanks 2 valves 1 outlet. BTW after working in the basement (pass trough storage) I had taken off the back panel to access the plumbing. Got to see how the sausage was made. I would recommend EVERYONE do this before your first time or or shortly there after. Cool stuff back there. Use a good flashlight, see how waterlines are ran, see how your dump valve cables are routed. Coming from TT background to 5er made for a good education doing this. It is real interesting if you have a residential fridge.

Oh and so you know I am still on this thread, you can see how the tanks are situated and which one is where. Including your approximate location of your fresh water tank.

Thanks Jeff. Quick question, any tanks directly under the basement (pass through)? I put in a MorRyde 40x90" Slide.

I did not check to see how far forward they go. The BW tank does go at least to the edge. and I am willing to bet it does go under there. i should have posted before closing it up.

Mystery Switches

I have another question. I know I am using all my questions up for the year. Two switches on the control panel I have no idea what they are.
1. The large switch to the right of the tank heater switches.and
2. The small single switch above the tank heater switches.
Picture included.

Jeffba, don’t know if it is an old crooked finger or an old brain. It’s a 6.7.
